Waynesville "Tim Ferguson, age 47, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the son of Billie and Edna Caldwell Ferguson. A sister, Linda Lee Ferguson, preceded Tim in death. He was employed by Dayco Corporation for 19 years and was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church. Tim loved hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Lynn McElroy Ferguson; one brother, Michael D. Ferguson and his wife, Judy, of Clyde; two uncles, Jack Ray Ferguson and his wife, Carolyn, of Candler and Dennis Caldwell and his wife, Mary Lou, of Canton; two aunts, Betty Ruth Burgman of Fort Orange, FL and Edith Schleicher and her husband, Brian, of Fort Smith, AR; two nephews, Phillip Ferguson and his wife, Andrea, and their two children, Colbie and Davis, all of Weaverville and Ryan McElroy and his wife, Michelle, of Waynesville; two nieces, Crystal Ferguson and her son, Dawson, of Waynesville and Brooke Stephenson and her husband, Robert and their two children, William and Zoe , all of Washington, NC and a special friend, Sue Howell and her two daughters, Jeanette Speissegger and Linda Stamn all of Waynesville.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Reverend Doug Henson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
