Picked up a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1992. By the mid 1990s, I finally admitted to myself that I didn't like Mechanical Engineering. Became a computer programmer in 1996 and have been at it ever since. Love it. Have been working for Fidelity Investments for the past eight years.
Work at the edge of the World Trade Center pier. Despite the splendid view of the harbor, I prefer to work from home when the liquid natural gas container ships come in. The site of our senior prom is now a bunch of office cubicles through which I pass everyday. My colleagues always say "No way!" and laugh when I tell them that we had our senior prom in the section next to the rest rooms.
