The Detroit Pistons swept the LA Lakers to win the franchise's first championship.  The first full length episode of The Simpsons, "Simpson's Roasting on an Open Fire", premiered on FOX. Rain Man "reigned" supreme at the box office. The Berlin Wall came down ... and the Wesson Attendance Center graduating class had successfully forced two English teachers into early retirement.

Welcome to the website of Wesson Attendance Center’s Class of 1989. It's hard to believe that it has been almost 20 years since we last strolled those hallowed halls of WAC. We are in the early planning stages of our 20th Year Reunion and have created this website as a means of communication between WAC 1989 alumni and their reunion committee.
