George Miner

George Miner

George H. Miner

Passed peacefully at his home on January 1, 2021 at the age of 76.  Loving husband of Donna (nee Holberg) of 56 years.  Beloved dad of Shelley (Scott) Kienast and Doug (Cherish) Miner.  Proud grandpa of Amber (Vince) Jakubek, Brandon (Amanda) Kienast, Bristol, Dayton and Loudon Miner.  Great grandpa of Madison and George.  He is further survived by two sisters, Ruth Ashby and Joanne Wiedekind.  George was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lorraine Miner; siblings Shirley Mae, Norman and Raymond.

George was a proud United States Navy Veteran, he was able to take the WI Honor Flight in October of 2017.  He founded Arrow Terminal, a company the whole family was involved in.  George had a passion for Cars and Speed; he raced at the Hales Corners Dirt Track and would watch NASCAR whenever he could.  Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family; even if it was spending money at the casinos in Wisconsin and Las Vegas.

Visitation will be held on Saturrday, January 16th from 9a.m. until the time of the 11a.m. funeral service at Christ EV Lutheran Church, W240 N3103 Pewaukee Rd, Pewaukee, WI 53072.  Burial to follow at Highland Memorial Park with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Honor Flight in George's name would be appreciated.

Rest in Peace George.  I remember you well from our school days.  Son-of-a-gun... you just made it to 76 and decided to shuffle off this mortal coil.  Have an enjoyable time behind the wheel wherever you are.  I believe good things like that can happen in your next life.

Gone too soon. So, just took your "last checkered". No "trading paint" where you are now. Rest easy, the hard work is over.
