In Memory

Robert Morris

Robert Morris

Said Mrs. Browninng, the poet, to Charles Kingsley, the novelist, 'What is the secret of life? Tell me so that I may also make mine beautiful also.'  Thinking for a moment, the old author replied, ' I had a wonderful friend.'

Bob left the world on August 16, 2018.  Brother  of Barbara Kumpen and Janice Morris.  He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Alice.  Bob Morris was more than a beautiful person.  Humans  like Robert T, Morris come along once in a lifetimme...and only if you are as fortunate as we all were to know him.  Bob was always there...ready to help, expecting nothing in return.  He was part of the family, loved by all as though he was blood related.  He quickly became a positive and loving role model to my three daughters and their four children.  Fiercely independent, responsible and very kind, Bob proudly served his country in the Army in Vietnam.  He was a brave and selfless patriot to our beloved country and a magnificent human being...the best friend any one could ever have.  We will all miss Bob and as we all try to deal with our profound loss we question where beautiful people like him come from.  He must have been Heaven sent.  We miss you Bob and salute your life. -Paul Hanson

So sad to hear of Bob's passing.  I first met him at Horace Mann and we became good friends.  He was a wonderful person and will be missed.  Rest in peace my friend.

Well said Ron and Larry. Always thought of him as "The Queit Man" - there when you needed him but never seeking the front of the stage. Save us a place my friend.
