Began working for MetLife in Sept 1970 - held several positions, and survived the merger with Travelers and purchase by United Healthcare. I moved into the Sales Dept and worked in Manhattan for 15 years. Worked for 38 years before retiring in Feb. 2008.

Having been retired and primary caregiver to my granddaughters, I decided to take on a per diem position at the Sisters of St. Joseph Mission Development Office in Brentwood a year ago. The Sisters were a client for many years, so assisting in their mission office to bring in funds was the right thing to do! Besides it gets me out of the house a few hours a week....

It is amazing how someone who you didn't hang around with in High School could touch your heart and emotions the way that Kris did later in life.  She was a kind, loving and special person who touched all of us on Facebook with her prolific writing.  We all looked forward to her rays of sunshine each day.  She was the first to send a messge or text when she knew your were not feeling well.  The world lost a special lady, but heaven got another special angel.  Rest in Peace Kris, you will be missed.
