It is with great sorrow that I inform you of the passing of Sister Marion McLinden OP.  Sister Marion passed away very peacefully on September 20, 2019 (as reported by Sister Ginny Connors, OP with whom Sister Marion shared a residence).  The funeral and wake will be held at the Dominican Motherhouse in Amityville, NY on Friday, October 4th and Saturday October 5th.

I have stayed in touch with Sister Marion since graduating from SJB in 1970. Every year I have sent her a birthday card and almost always received very kind notes in return. During my high school years, she was a confidant, mentor, and advisor. Later, she became a friend of almost 50 years.

I missed the opportunity to attend SJBs 50th anniversary celebration.  I understand Sr. Marion attended.  If any of you participated in that event and have pictures of her, I would greatly appreciate it if you could pass them along to my persoanl email at joanne.naso@gmail.com.
