Obituary:

Jane Elizabeth Postier, 40, of Carlisle, died Monday, August 21, 2006. Funeral services were Friday, August 25, at Carlisle United Methodist Church in Carlisle. Burial was at Carlisle City Cemetery in Carlisle. Peterson Funeral Home in Carlisle was in charge of arrangements.

She was born in Iowa City on February 23, 1966.   She graduated from West Liberty High School and International Air Academy in St. Louis, Missouri.  She was a human-resource manager for Sheraton West Des Moines Hotel.  She was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church and OES No. 521.

She enjoyed spending time with her son outside, fishing, canoeing, gardening and attending his sports activities.

She is survived by her son, Austin Lynn Postier, of Carlisle; three sisters, Ann (Brian) Lee of Pleasant Hill, Danelle Lovetinsky of Storm Lake and Sarah (Matt) Morgan of Des Moines; her mother, Lois Jean Wehde, of Storm Lake; her father, Richard Wehde, of Storm Lake; a grandparent, Naomi Wehde, of Tipton; her significant other, Jeff Gonder, of Carlisle; her son's father, Rick Postier; a niece, Courtney Lovetinsky; and three nephews, Jordan Lee, Travis Lovetinsky and Hunter Morgan.
