Greetings.
From 1993 to the present I've worked as either a newspaper reporter or magazine staff writer/reporter.
Most wouldn't be familiar with any of them -- as most were esoteric-type financial-services publications. (Credit Union Times, Thompson Financial Publications, anyone, anyone . .. . see, I told ya . . )
Though I'd like to think some locals may remember my bylines from some basic crime reporting working for the Palm Beach Post and Boca Raton News in the 1990's. Covered education for the Stuart/Port St. Lucie News as well.
Most recently, I've covered corporate bankruptcies for the Palm Beach/Broward/Miami-Dade Daily Business Review.
I never really left town.
After finally attempting college at PBCC and FAU long after graduation from Forest Hill, I was fortunately given the opportunity to learn newswriting on the job after a couple of successfull internships.
Anyway, it's great to see (via profile information) so many are doing well.
And thanks to Carrie Webb (oddly enough, the only 1988 graduate I've actually scene more than once since graduation. Oh yeah, Adam Franklin, too.) for putting this together.
