Joe Dalton (RIP)~ My first HS friend. I came to WT Clarke from another grade school didn’t know anybody. Joe introduced me to the rest of my new 9th grade friends: John O’Keefe (RIP) & Kevin Buckley (RIP) all of my first buddies gone way too soon.. miss them still ~ We all thought we were cool back in those days and perhaps we were - at least we thought we were. We were all fun-lovers & Gray & Black fraternity brothers. We all had so much in common; we liked girls, sports & fun. We all had jobs & worked hard & played hard - many party times & good times and memories that have lasted a lifetime. I’m the only one left of my first four buddies. Joe Dalton & I both shared a heartbreaking tragedy in 1975, Joe’s sister Peggy & my Mom we’re both taken suddenly in a tragic car accident within a few months. All buried along now with Joe in Holy Rood. When I visit my Mom frequently... I always say hello to Joe (one row over). My first HS friend. I miss them all and will always cherish those wonderful memories ~ All missed and loved by many ~
