I think of Grace often, and still miss her kindness and her great sense of humor.

I too, often think of Grace or "Gabby" as she was so appropriately and lovingly nicknamed by her Dad, and miss her dearly. Her loyalty, thoughtfulness, laughter and great sense of humor made knowing her a true joy. I first met Grace when I was 5 years old while on a "play date" set up by our mothers, From then on we became neighborhood playmates and school classmates giving us a multitude of fond childhood memories.  Don and I had great times traveling with Grace and her husband, Vince to Hawaii and then to Duluth and the North Shore. Grace was a true friend.

I always thought Grace's name was Gray Sand - because when we would play together her mom would holler "Grace Ann"  -  I thought it was the oddest name for a little girl.  It was years before I figured it out.  She always had a beautiful smile for everyone !
