Darrel and I worked together at LeVassuer's grocery store as stock clerks and general "Jacks of all trades". We both lived within a block of the store so we were often called in on short notice. Darrel's Mom, Rose, also worked at the store so he found it harder to get away with goofing off than the rest of us did.
