Nancy Priest


LINDALE - Funeral services for Nancy Priest, age 55, of Lindale, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011 in the New Harmony Baptist Church with Bro. Robbie Caldwell officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Whitehouse under direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors, Lindale.

Mrs. Priest was born May 3, 1956, in Tyler, the daughter of the late Harold and Jonell (West) Hamby. She passed away Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, in a Tyler hospital. Mrs. Priest lived in Lindale since 1982 and was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Priest of Lindale; sister, Vicki Bruce and husband Steve of Whitehouse; niece, Jessica Epps of Whitehouse; nephews, Jeremy and Timothy Priest of Whitehouse, Jonathan Kilpatrick of Searcy, Ark.; brothers-in-law, Gary Priest and wife Sherri of Whitehouse, Eddie Priest and wife Trish of Troup; sister-in-law, Tandy Kilpatrick and husband John of Searcy, Ark.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home

I have lots of good memories growing up with Nancy!!!  Heaven truly welcomed a sweet angel in their mist!! We will all miss you sweet cousin but we will see each other again!! May you rest in peace!!

May God bless you and your family, I was sadden to hear the news.  My first fast dance was with Nancy, at Garlands house in the eighth grade I think.  Think you for making me get up and dance, cause I did not want too, not in public anyway.
