Services for Larry D. Willis, 54, Tyler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Peoples Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lennon Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Oliver's Chapel Cemetery under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.
Mr. Willis died Oct. 8, 2006, in Tyler.
He was born March 2, 1952, in Whitehouse to the late Leamon Sr. and Ollie Beecham Wil-lis. He attended Stanton and White-house High Schools. He was self-employed and a member of Little Zion Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leamon Willis Jr.
Survivors include son, Kristopher Willis, Houston; daughter, Nachio Small, Dallas; brothers, Robert Willis, Elbert Willis and Thomas Willis, all of Tyler, Nesby Willis, Troup, Charles Willis, Arlington, and Ross Willis, Palestine; sisters, Thelma Beasley, Whitehouse, Addie Pettigrew Taylor and Alma Birdow, both of Tyler, and Hattie Gildon, Dallas; and three grandchildren. |
