It won't be the same without Debbie there. She could light up a room with her beautiful smile and she loved being with friends and having a good time. I will miss not being able to visit with her when we all get together, but we all have great memories of times we spent with her that we can reminisce about. I miss you!! Debbie Jimmerson-Pike

There isn't enough time or space, to recall my memories of this beautiful extraordinary person. From first grade on, we were pretty much inseparable. I feel so fortunate to have known and been such good friends with her . A very dedicated person, no matter what she took on. I always knew that she would be successful in whatever she chose to do. Debbie counseled me since the first grade, just didn't know it!!!!,(that's how good she was) and she was a good teacher and role model too, for anyone. If I had anything on my mind, if there was a secret that I absolutely could not tell anyone, or needed a little back up, she was always there. We shared so many good times. My heart is still so heavy and I'm sure many of yours are as well. Life is not easy to understand sometimes.

I remember the first time the mustang pulled up at my house, with Debbie, Debbie Ables and Karen Reed to pick me up for band practice. I think it was my early freshman year. They all took me under their wings and taught me the ways of the world in a short time. Debbie T. always made sure I got home home on time and played by the rules, while Debbie A. and Karen and I were a little more on the same "party page". There will always be a special place in my heart and memory for Debbie. I know your smile and big heart will live forever in the minds of all of us. You have no idea how many lives you have touched.

God Bless,

Pamela Fielding-Brown

I will always remember Debbie as being so sweet, kind, understanding and helpful.

I was another one that she picked up and took home from Band Practice my senior year. She is truly missed and is in a much better and peaceful place. I am sure she is smiling down on us and happy that we are all getting together. She would have been one of the people that I would have looked forward to seeing. May we always keep her in our memory.

Debbie and her family lived about three miles down the road from me in the Shady Grove Community. I met her shortly after she moved into her beautiful new home. But sadly we never made the connection that both our roots were in Whitehouse. As high school counselor, she made such an impact on the youth of Burnet. Debbie always wore a bright smile and had a pleasant word. She is missed!

Debbie was my "big Sis" in band - she adopted me my 8th grade year when I was moved into the high school band by Nancy Newkirk. I never understood why such a beautiful and kind person like her would adopt a shy quiet bookworm like me as her little sis, but I have always felt lucky and grateful for her guidance. The news of her loss makes me sad, but I know she touched SO many lives and her memory will live on with all of us! ]Sandra Gilley McCormick

We just had the most awesome joint class reunion. The mood was almost surreal. Debbie, this happened because of you. You were always special and even after death, have to the ability bring joy to those you have touched and those that never knew you. RIP, Debbie. Until we meet again.
