Services for Michael Jackson, 52, of Tyler were held Sept. 29, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church with the Revs. F.L. Mitchell and Shelton Oliver officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery, Whitehouse, under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.

Mr. Jackson died Sept. 25, 2007 in Tyler. He was born April 11, 1955 in Tyler and attended Whitehouse High School. He worked at Kelly-Springfield Tire Co. (now Goodyear) and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jackson, and grandparents.

Survivors include sons, Chris Cooper and Broderick Wilson, both of Tyler, DeCarlton Wilson, Jacksonville, and Askia Wade, Tyler; daughters, Andrea Jackson and Kristin Jackson, both of Tyler; brother, Alphonso Jackson, Sunnyvale; and sister, Ruby Moore, Rowlett. Pallbearers were Michael Bowie, Charles Ervin, Richard Ervin, Anthony Jackson, Richard Johnson, Robert McGee, Donnell McCuin and Bobby Milton. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Antioch Baptist Church and Whitehouse High Class of 1973.
