We had a peculiar friendship. She was always there to keep me in line. She was very popular in school and well-liked. She fought a fighting battle with her sickness, but always had great spirit and never complained. Even after moving to Houston, Texas and when she returned home, she always kept in touch.

She was very unique and was one of the founders of the Destiny's Child. She is .well-missed and will always be remembered. A very special person.

Andretta was my buddy! We had alot of fun times together, at school, on school trips to football games, church, at the Lake, parties and when I was in drill team! We really enjoyed singing together not only at church but after EVERY football game "win or lose" we had several songs to sing ALL the way back to Whitehouse! : )) I miss her dearly and I love her as a sister.....she was a wonderful genuine person...Miss Foxy Brown!!! She will forever be my buddy!!

I rode the bus with Andretta and my fondest memories was how she would keep the younger kids in line esp. her little brother. She would hollar out their name once when they were out of line then rap them on the head with her middle knuckle. I remember her singing filling up the bus.
