Samuel Earl Robinson Services for Samuel Earl Robinson, 54, Tyler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church with Pastor Derry G. Hinton Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, Whitehouse, under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler. Mr. Robinson died June 29, 2006, in Tyler. He was born Sept. 9, 1952, in Whitehouse, where he grew up and graduated from Whitehouse High School. He served in the Navy and was a machine operator. He was a member of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, where he served as van ministry chairman and was in Brotherhood, Senior Choir, on Benevolence Committee, Education Committee and Men's Choir. He was preceded in death by his father, Pink Robinson Jr., and grandparents. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Joyce Farmer Robinson, Tyler; sons, Darryle Robinson, Chicago, Ill., and Marcus Farmer Robinson, Woodville; daughter, Tiffany Robinson Seaton, Tyler; parents, William and Emma Smith Bowie; brothers, Jimmy Haggerty, Tyler, Gary Hill and "Charlie Boy" Hill; and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers are deacons of Greater Shiloh Baptist Church and of God's Will Missionary Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers are Neal Carter, Jerry Marshall, Desmon M. Champion, Coy D. Kelly, Darryle Robinson, L.J. Farmer, Vernon Polk, Gregory Champion Jr., Troy B. Kelly and Gregory Champion Sr. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
