James "RODNEY" Dozier, 54, of Whitehouse passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family.

A "celebration of his life" memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 15 at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler with the Reverend Sherman Mayfield officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service.

Rodney was born September 9, 1959, in Tyler to the late James and Betty (Moore) Dozier. 

He was a 1978 graduate of Whitehouse High School and continued his education at Tyler Junior College. He worked at AMECO (the world's leader in integrated mobile equipment and tool solutions) for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, family, motorcycles and living life to the fullest. The love of his life was his daughter Amber. She will always be daddy's little girl.

Preceded him in death are his father, James Royal Dozier; mother, Betty Moore Dozier and wife, Sandra Anderson Dozier. 

He is survived by his daughter Amber and her husband Waymon Durham; daughter Kimberly and her husband Troy Tabb; son, Clint and his wife Laurie Bryant; grandchildren, Shyanna, Savannah, and Slade Durham all of Tyler; Dalton, Dillon and Destiny Tabb; Jordan Abna and Kiely Bryant all of Tyler, aunt, Betty Pittman of Henderson; uncle, John Dozier of San Antonio; mother Barbara Lamb Dozier of Tyler; sisters, Karen and husband Eric Horton of Tyler, Sharon and husband Robert Van Cleave, Braxton and Bailey of Highland Park and Laurie and husband Danny Prachyl, Ashley and Payton of Ennis.

Honorary pallbearers are Forrest Jordan Sr., Larry Herrington and the AMECO employees, Macy Hill, Dalton Tabb, Eric Horton, Waymon Durham, Brad Burger and Jimmy Shoemaker.
