Jay 73 - Pumphrey

I have been in the explosives business since 1982. I have worked for Dyno Nobel as National Sales Manager for ten years before becoming the President of Strawn Explosives based out of Dallas Tx. Moved on to Evansville Indiana for five years as The COO for Midland Powder Company. My business partner( Steve Buckley) and I got together in 2003 and bought Dyno Nobel's southwest division. We have bought out four other companies in the past five years. We are based out of Denver Co. Cynthia and I have been married for 25 years.

I have so many good memories of school at Whitehouse. The trouble I got into with Randy Turner and Kenny Buchinger. They were a year in front of me and at TJC but they took me to all thier parties. One night we got a bit over the top and pushed a old car over the cliff at the auto machinics building and with me been the only one still at WHS, Wayne the local policeman was at my house bright and early the next morning! Also I remember Mr. Hagan breaking his Pattle over my butt! He broke it on his third lick! I think it just made him that much more mad because the last lick with the half pattle was the worst!
