Evelyn 77 - Terry Permenter

Got married to a Whitehouse guy, (Joe Permenter, who was a coach), graduated from UT Tyler as a Medical Technologist....worked in hospital labs as a bleeding/clotting specialist for the next 15 yrs. Left the Tyler area and moved to Central Texas (due to coaching jobs). Eventually I left the hospital world and went to work for the school district as the Registrar to have more time with my family. After Joe retired from teaching last year, we came back to Tyler and I took a job as an Advisor in Allied Health and Nursing at TJC. Joe surrendered to the ministry in 1997 and is currently the worship pastor at Gateway Baptist Church in Whitehouse.

I mostly remember Tom Cooper's math class and hearing the dreaded words....."Get out a clean sheet of paper and number to ten" because you knew you were going to have a pop quiz! Linda Johnson's class was always fun, and of course, she set me up on a blind date with her nephew.....Joey Permenter!
