I believe you are right. I agree 100%. When going thru this lay-off situation, I explained to Cole that I buy him stuff all year long. At least once a month I am buying a new pr of boots, dress jeans, dress shirts, whatever--I shouldnt have to spend out the ass for Christmas. I have stopped participating in any Christmas family thingys. I told them "I have enuff stuff---and I only see u 1x a yr--u dont know what I want/need and it is silly for you to call me and ask me what I want???" Finally, I got the majority to follow suit. So this year we are all donating to a charity of our choice. Mine is american cancer society this year.
But you know, "people" make one feel bad b/c u dont conform to the concept of Christmas. I feel pretty cruddy b/c there is no tree or lights or anything. But why do it, if ya aint feeln it???
BTW, I watched the Stanky Legg, Halle Barry, Ricky Bobby on Utube just now---all I got to say is this these silly ass folks need to find something else to do. Those arent dances those are people kickin a leg or doin a booty pop or strikin a pose. Goodness!
