Camilla was a beautiful girl all the way through school, alwlays so soft spoken. We attended Crockett Elementary together and were in the same first grade class. Then we carpooled to Zundy and all the way through high school, along with Susan Tinsley. I am sorry I lost touch with her after I left WF.
Camilla and I were reallly good friends through college. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding, but after she and Gary moved away from WF and I moved to Dallas, we lost contact. She was a beautiful, funny, fun friend who often got me into things that it's amazing we stayed out of trouble! I have some very fond memories of our many escapades, and I'm sorry that I was unaware that we had lost her.
I remember Camilla from the First grade at Crockett school, in Ms Rimmers ( sp ) class. I had a huge crush on Camilla, and snuck in a quick peck on her cheek during the reading circle by holding my book up to hide the illegal deed, but got caught and sent to Principals office for my trouble. She was really a sweet girl, and I am really sad that she is gone now. Was looking forward to seeing her at the Reunion, now I guess I will have to wait to see her in the Bible reading circle upstairs. Rest in peace dear sweet Camilla !
Camilla and I went back from kindergarten thru college. She was an artist and could quickly draw anything, even in first grade which was magic to me. During our senior high school and college years, we had some adventuresome times together trying to be daring without getting into trouble. Came pretty close! We were brides maids in each others weddings and pretty much went our own ways after children came into the picture. I will remember Camilla as a true friend and someone who was wonderful to have known.
