I miss David Archer a lot. We had been friends since our days at Alamo school. I always had a huge crush on him through grade school and junior high. He was a terrific friend and so much fun to be around. We had such a fun time at our 20 yr reunion. He definitely had a love for life and would have cherished this reunion so much.
Please try and attend this reunion. As Jimmy Rhoades said, life is short and we're getting much older , friends.
Archer is a classmate I really miss. When we were in Alamo one summer everyone bleached their hair a bright golden blonde. Not David, he dyed his hair jet black. After I started coaching, Coaching School every other year was in Houston. David and I, plus several others from WF, would meet at The Dark Horse. David would close the night with a round of Schnops. He said it was the drink of friendship. RIP Archer we all miss you.
