I am sad to see that Jack Cox is no longer with us.  He was very cute, creative and a lot of fun

Jack was one great police officer for the WFPD  . I  had many visits with him after hours since i was involved in the training and certification of police officers . I remember he would pull up in his patrol car to my office and want to visit about what was new and what was coming down the pike that might impact him . One of my first  assignments  when i was employed by the regional council of governments was to survey law enforcement facilities and  training programs for some 36 cities and 12 counties in north Texas. We had many laughs about the world and many serious conversations about what was happening in the field of law enforcement across the region and the state.  He always had a positive outlook and i will always remember our time together.. I was deeply saddend to learn of his health issues and demise ..

When I think of Jack Cox I remember Jimmy Cox, Crockett School, the Scholls, Mack & Jack. As it goes I saw Jack less at Zundy & "lesser" at WFHS. Through the years after our 65 graduation I saw him in uniform as a WFPD and then again at some of our class reunions. I recall Jack helped with the planning of our previous reunions. RIP Jack. We will miss you at our 50th reunion. But u will be with us in spirit.
