Lewis, William H. IV, 37, business proprietor, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2008. William owned and operated Clean Force, a company that serviced multiple area businesses.
Although William and I knew each other throughout jr. high and high school, we never became friends back then. Around 1997, I was working as a floral manager at Dillons and moving to the new store at 47th and Broadway. In a manager’s meeting before the store’s opening, I looked across the room and saw William. Turns out, he was going to be the video manager. Our departments were right next to each other, so we became fast friends, going to lunch often and helping each other out. My husband, Chris, also became good friends with William. When our daughters came along, he became their Uncle Bubba. William was a wonderful, caring person who would do anything for his friends and family. He’d often just stop by to say hi, play with the girls, or help with whatever we were doing at the time. He was taken from us too soon and we miss him.
