Pam was a friend of mine in junior high and high school. I wish I knew how and when she passed.

I wanted to add some more personal information about this dear friend of mine who I miss each and every day. We remained close friends from junior high until the day she passed away. She had a remarkable impact on my life as well as on my children’s life.
The first week end in November was always reserved for a girls weekend to KC – just Pam and I – no husbands no kids. We were headed on our annual trip the morning of November 5, 2004. We had stopped for breakfast earlier and were getting ready to stop at Ottawa to get a drink. I was driving as usual, and shortly before the Ottawa exit Pam said “Oh, God something is wrong”. Those were the last words Pam spoke. She immediately became unconscious. I drove to the nearest exit and summoned an ambulance from the gas station. I notified her daughter, husband and parents from the Ottawa hospital. Pam was life watched to a Kansas City hospital but she was already brain dead from a massive brain aneurism. Pam was kept alive until her family could arrive and passed away later that evening.
For those of you who knew Pam’s younger sister, Teri, she passed away this past December (2007). It has been a very traumatic time for the family to say the least.
I still remain in contact with Liz, Pam’s daughter, a wonderful person. Pam did a wonderful job raising Liz and she is a beautiful young woman who misses her mom immensely.

Pam was one of the first people I was excited about getting back in touch with when I first got on this site. Looking through the old year book sparked alot of memories of friends I had completely forgotten about. I think Pam & I were friends, at least in our classes together and it was shock to see that she had died. So very sad for her family and friends. What a horrible shock to lose her so quickly and unexpectedly. We'll miss you Pam!

Pam was a very loyal and wonderful friend. She was always right there to help in any way that she could, and I have many wonderful memories of the time we spent together. I know she is missed by those whose lives she touched, but we are all better off having known her.

Diana, Thank you for filling us in. I had not seen Pam since High School but remember her well and always enjoyed her company. What a terrible loss.
It saddens me when I think of how helpless you must have felt in that situation. The panic that you must have felt I'm sure was frightening. God Bless Pam, You and Your Families.
Sincerely Jeff Buss
