I remember as part of a project we did for a class each person had to stand up in front of the class and describe a lunch that included the five food groups. When it was my turn the teacher had some questions for me and I stood there tongue tied and Lynda raised her hand and spoke up helping me out. I didn't really know Lynda but I greatly appreciated her kindness that day.
A few of us girls - Denise, Deldee, Angie, Lynda, Brenda -- got together for dinner in Wichita in early December, '85 to catch up on what had happened to us since high school. Lynda passed just a short time later in January, '86. We miss you Lynda, and so wish you could be here to recount the "good ol' days". You taught us the importance of keeping those old friendships going and we never get together, even now, without thinking of you -- you're in our hearts forever.
Can't believe she's gone. My most vivid memory of Lynda was 7th grade spanish class at Truesdell. She would sew her name into the palm of her hand under her desk and we'd try not to laugh during that very boring class.
