Bruce was a pilot in the U.S. Navy and died in a training accident in Pensacola, FL, Feb 1990. His oldest daughter was 2.5 years old and his wife was 4 months pregnant with his second daughter.

He is burried at Resthaven cemetary just a few yards from my father. I first met his wife and daughters several years ago while visiting my father's grave on Memorial Day, while wearing my Navy uniform.

I attended the Memorial Day service a few days ago, in my uniform and his oldest daughter, was there at his grave site. She came up to me and hugged me and cried. She said that she comes every year looking for me and was very pleased to see me. It had been 5 years since we last saw each other at Resthaven.

Bruce was LT aviator and a great American.

I, too, remember Bruce. I just want to say I'm sorry for his family's loss and to also say Thanks, Bruce, for your military service in our American Armed Forces.

(Curtis, thanks for sharing the story of your meeting of Bruce's Family at Resthaven; Very touching). Any more current picture of Bruce available?

To a childhood friend and shipmate. I had known Bruce since the 4th grade his dad and my dad were policemen together. In the summer times our families would go camping together. I joined the Navy in 1989 and 9mo later Bruce was killed. When I first went into the Navy we kept in touch and he was such support when I was trying to survie bootcamp and learning the ropes. I was Enlisted and he was an Officer he would joke I can't wait till the day we come face to face and you have to salute me.

Bruce you are missed so much, may your seas be calm and the blue skies be clear.

Love Reny
