John passed on August 25, 2006. He is my best memory of high school. We miss him dearly.

I remember when I moved to Wichita in 1976. I started a new school at Rea Woodman. John made me feel welcome and cared for as an individual. John was ALWAYS a GENUINE, Caring friend through the years. I always smile when I think of him. Roxie (Newkirk) Brean
