OBITUARY

OVERLAND PARK - Tom Currier, 24, a former Kansas University track athlete,  died of cancer here Sunday.

Currier ranks second on KU's all-time decathlon chart with a score of 6,907, compiled in 1978.

Currier, born in Colorado Springs, Colo., and a graduate of Wichita East High, was a loan officer in a bank here. He's survived by his parents and two brothers.
