I have known Charley since grade school. Was sorry to hear of his passing. After I left Wichita in '68, I ran into him, by suprise, at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey at AIT training. I believe he ended up going to Germany while I left for Vietnam.
It is hard realizing so many classmates have passed on. It will be great to see my friends after so many years gone from Wichita.
I grew up with Charley and we could see each others houses from our homes.I am sorry to hear about his passing and am grateful that there is a site that I can now find out about my old friends. Wished I knew about this before people died but am looking forward to visit at the reunion this year.
