Marjorie Curry (Nurse)

Marjorie Ann (Hensel) Curry, 89, a six-year resident of Central City, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at the Grand Island Veterans Home. Mrs. Curry was born Oct. 12, 1922, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lee Lewis Hensel and Harriet (Hattie) Block. Marjorie was a registered nurse who served in the Army in World War II and worked for many years as a school nurse in Wichita, Kan. She was awarded a bachelor's degree in sociology from Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kan.
