Jon K. Nelson, 52, of Tyler, Texas, formerly of Wichita, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001. Mr. Nelson was born Sept. 19, 1949 in Oakland, Neb., and was formerly of Dallas until moving to Tyler in 2000. He was formerly employed by the Dallas Police Dept. and was in real estate in Tyler. He also had served in the Army Reserves. (Wichita Eagle, December 6, 2001)
