Marvin Eugene Nutter

Doc was born on October 2, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas. He has resided in Denver, CO and Vancouver, WA. He graduated with a master's degree in Economics from Wichita State University and served in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant at Fort Leavenworth, KS for several years. Doc loved dogs especially his Great Dane, Lilly, who lived comfortably on his couch and spent time with him while he practiced karate in the great outdoors. Being in nature to walk, fish, boat and contemplate his Native American heritage intrigued Doc and brought him a sense of peace. He loved being with his children, Chris and Amy, while capturing the moments that defined what was really important in life. He believed in teaching his grandchildren that being happy is what truly counted. He felt blessed to be part of his family's life. He enjoyed boating, playing poker, video gaming and watching sports with his family and friends. Doc had a great gift of telling stories which always captured the attention of and aroused the imagination of anyone within listening range. He will be dearly missed.
