Janice R. Lyons was born July 17, 1949 in Fort Dix, New Jersey to Dorothy (Grimm) and Wiley P. Imboden.  Janice’s father was in the military and her early years were spent traveling to different countries while he served his country. Jan’s most beloved home, during her formative years, was that of Paris, France. She graduated from Wichita West High School in 1967. 

After high school she went to technical school and began working in healthcare in information management for over 50 years. On May 23, 1993 she was united in marriage to John Lyons in Windsor, Missouri.  Janice most recently worked for Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr as the health information management director.
