Steven Craig Martin, age 68, passed away on January 4, 2018.

Steve was born on May 27, 1949 in Wichita, Kansas to parents Richard and June Lauterbach Martin. He graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration. He also earned an associate degree from Oklahoma State Tech in shoe, boot, and saddle making. He owned Rowell's Shoe Service in Austin for more 20 years.

Steve was a great man and a loving father. He married Nancy Watts in 1973 and the couple had 2 children together.

Steve was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the Church of Christ. He enjoyed music, BBQ, fishing, and time with family. His family and friends will always remember him as a very helpful person and a great storyteller.
