Terri Gilliland

Terri Lee Gilliland, age 69, of Cedar Park Texas was called home on Tuesday October 8th, 2019 to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Born October 26, 1949 in Wichita Kansas. She was the daughter of Navy Chief Petty Officer and Master Plumber, Lawrence Gilliland, and homemaker, Elizabeth Vera Merten.

She married Larry D. Anderson in 1966 and they had two daughters, Tami R. Dove and Amie E. Bryson. After they divorced, she worked hard going to school while providing for her family as a single mom. She wore many hats besides being a mom, including beautician, court reporter, legal secretary, paralegal, office manager, accountant, trustee and boss "Dragon Lady". She was a fierce protector and provider as well as a teacher of character, grace and love to her children and grandchildren. She always made room for grace and helped anyone who needed it. Having had polio as an infant, she was an advocate for children and people with disabilities. She had a deep love and compassion for God's creatures, being an animal lover and birdwatcher. She loved playing piano, cooking and experimenting with recipes and finding new restaurants while enjoying fellowship with friends and family. She was an artist and enjoyed creating with clay. She was the happiest and most fun when she was in her element. She was the glue of any gathering, always making sure that everyone was loved and cared for and felt at home. Her legacy will continue in all the lives that she has touched. Most of all, she was a servant of our Lord, Jesus. She taught her children and loved ones the love of the Lord. This is the fruit of her life.
