John Beck (uncle Johnny), born Aug. 28, 1949 in Olney, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008. John was a teacher at Wichita Area Technical College for 15 years, and most recently a substitute teacher for Wichita Public Schools. He was also a long-time Civil War re-enactor, as well as an avid motorcycle enthusiast. (Wichita Eagle, February 9, 2008)
