Sullivan, Esther J., 81, born May 10, 1937, passed away February 3, 2019 surrounded by her husband and daughter. Esther was born to James and Lucy (Wallace) Briggs, and the eldest of two children. Esther married William Sullivan on July 5, 1958 in Wichita, KS and has one daughter, Stacey Sullivan. Esther was born in Ness City KS, and retired from the Wichita Public School System after 35 years of service as an English teacher. Esther was known to many of her students as “Sergeant Sullivan”. She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her pets. She loved spending time with family and friends.
