Steven Baert, a West grad of 1967, passed away on October 18, 2021 in Wichita. Following graduation, he began working for the Wichita Street Maintenance department, a job he had for over 30 years. Following his retirement from the city,he worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for 14 years. He also worked with his wife Diann at Bear’s Restaurant.
