Karen Ruth Briggs, born September 28, 1939 in Wichita, Kansas passed into Heaven on December 7, 2019 at the age of 80. She resided in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She is survived by her daughter Kelly (husband Jon), son Kevin Douglas, granddaughters Katie and Sara Wofford, grandson Kevin Michael Briggs (wife Jessica), great-grandson Landon Briggs. She is preceded in passing by her spouse Kenneth Eugene Briggs, her parents Joseph Frederick Gegen and Era Rosalia Gegen (Kohler) and her sister Kathryn “Kay” Cauthon-Martens.
