I would like to be able to start publishing a list of Classmates who will be attending the Reunion. What is a CLASS REUNION without T-Shirts......Right????? So there it is, our Brave Classmates will be utilizing their Artistic Abilities to draw, sketch and design T-Shirts for us to wear on Friday Night, September 15th, at the football game!
Rules of the T-Shirt Design Contest:

3) Provide a design for the Front and Back of the T-Shirt.

I have truly enjoyed my Memorial Day Holiday! I had the honor of reconnecting and spending quality time with many classmates before our 30th Reunion!!!!! We had a ball and the great thing is, we get to do this again in September with many more of our Classmates!!!!

Funeral Services for Our Dear Classmate, Karen Newsome:
Ms. Karen Susan "'Sue Sue" Newsome, 48, of 116 4th Street, SE, Wilson, NC, passed away on May 16, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
The funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 2:30 pm at Perry's Temple OFWB Church, 5000 Tarts Mill Road, Wilson, NC. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery, Lane Street Ext., Wilson, NC.
A public visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Stevens Funeral Home, 1820 Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway, Wilson, NC, with the family present from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm to receive friends.
Ms. Newsome leaves many cherished memories to: one brother, Michael Eric Tillery, Sr. (Kimberly); two aunts, Maude Barnes and Olean Bullock (James"Pig") both of Wilson, NC; six nephews, Montel Coleman, Michael Eric Tillery, Jr., Jahterius Horne, Jamier Mitchell and Malachi Jones all of Wilson, NC and PVT Desmond Pettaway of Fort Meade Maryland; six nieces, Shenesha Mitchell (Michael), Tyesha Ingram (Shelton), Trinitee Hamson, Keimorah Mitchell, Shanayah Howard and Aliyah Eatmon all of Wilson, NC; her god mother, Loise Miller of Wilson, NC; one sister-in-law, Phyllis Tillery of Wilson, NC; two special friends, Delores Crawford-Carey and Cornelius " Bo Pete" Roundtree both of Wilson, NC; her dog/baby, Angel; a host of other dear relatives and friends.

Lorie Lewis Ellis Story:
Ok here's my story. I know everyone remembers when Lorie Ellis Danieland I had to go to D hall for "skipping school." Actually we didn't skipped school. Well not that day anyway. We arrived well before school started. I had just gotten my Class ring and as soon as we pulled in I realized I didn't have it on. So we left. We went back to Lorie's and there it was. I was so happy. We would have been late then for sure so we decided to head to Edgecombe County. My daddy had a farm there and we decided we would go spend the day working on our leaf collection. 🤓You know one of those projects.... We spent the day with my daddy. I'm sure we had a wonderful home cooked meal that my grandma prepared and probably laughed a lot. We hadn't thought about calling Lorie's mom ( who is now my mother in law) because that would have been a long distance call and well it really wasn't important... Well someone snitched on us in 5 th period. Said they saw us earlier at school and Ms Shelton reported us to the office. Delance was then contacted about her daughter's whereabouts. She was clueless! Needless to say we had to visit Mr Lewis' office (no relation, however that might have been beneficial.) The sentence was D Hall. I felt like a repeat felon since I had been to D Hall once before for three consecutive tardies. Imagine that. My bff (now sister in law) was traumatized. Our classmates didn't let it rest and Coach Neal nearly caused Lorie to have a panic attack. We have had many laughs about it. Class day would not have been the same because we definitely were out for revenge! Most of all I look back and think, Wow it was worth it. It was one more day I was blessed to spend with my daddy that I would not have had otherwise. How I would love to have one more day!

Paula Taylor Cox Story:
My memory is when JL Joyner ran out of class chasing the mouse that had been tormenting the English Hall. He was running up and down the English hall chasing the mouse! All you could see was JL streaking past the door several times with his long hair flowing! The little white mouse scurrying to and fro! Tinsel Clayton calling JL's name in her high pitched voice. Students laughing and loudness of student putting there feet in the desks. Then hearing the heart pounding stomp and last squeak!!! The priceless look of JL's face and sense of accomplishment as he walked back into class!!!! Just another day in the life of JL!!!! As I reread the memory it sounded like a chapter in a Junie B. Jones book or Diary of a Wimpy Kid for those parent who have endured these series with their children! This is just one of many fond memories of my years at BHS!!!!

In wanting to keep the expenses for the reunion affordable, the cost did not include things such as the Memory Books. But what would a reunion be if we didn't have memory books for all classmates to take with them? The memory books will allow us to enjoy the memories long after the reunion!
Please consider selling an ad or better yet purchasing an ad. The money raised will be used towards the cost of printing the memory books. Attached please find the information that explains the different ad types and the cost, as well as information to provide to potential purchasers!

A long, long time ago in 2010, my family and I went to an Atlanta Hawks vs. Detroit Pistons game in Atlanta . As we found our seats, I saw a familiar face 2 rows in front of me. To my delight, it turned out to be my dear old friend Vicki Murrain Bulluck! We met later that year for dinner and Appletinis! Kisses to you my friend! Hope to see you at the reunion! It's Thursday and you know what that means! It's Tag A Friend, Tell A Story Thursday!
Here's the Story for today......
In going through old pictures, l found this picture and it was perfect for me to use for my story today! My husband and I were at Disney World in 2001. While waiting for a show to begin, we talked and watched other people. I kept feeling someone looking at me but I couldn't figure out who it was. So I continued to check my surroundings until I finally locked eyes with someone who I thought I knew. I wasn't certain because we were all decked out in the blue rain ponchos trying to stay dry. I finally told Dom, I think its an old classmate. So I hesitantly walked over and sure enough, it was the one and only Vicki Murrain Bulluck! It had been 14 years since high school and we ran into each other, of all places, in Florida! What a small world! As we waited for the showers to pass to catch our show, we caught up on what had been going on with each of us since graduation! In the short time that we spent together that day in Florida, we reminisced about our days at Beddingfield! Then the rain stopped and it was time to see our show. But you know we couldn't end the conversation, not knowing when and if we would ever see each other again without a photo! So here it is! Vicki was just as sweet that day in 2001 as I had always remembered her in high school!
Hey Vicki....Hope you and the family are well! Looking forward to seeing you in September! We have catching up to do from 2001 to current!

As promised, we have lots of fun things lined up for May!
To start out, we will be Tagging Friends and Telling Stories on Thursdays for the month of May! Just something fun to allow us to continue to re-acquaint ourselves, as well as getting to know something new about our friends/classmates. The stories can be from any point in your life....back in high school, college or more recently and can be about times you experienced with classmates, family or friends! If you have pictures to go along with your story, please share! Everybody loves pictures!
To ensure that we have participation, please let me know if you are willing to volunteer. I will then provide a list of classmates who have volunteered to be TAGGED. Of course to get it started, I will provide the first story and then I will tag a classmate who is on the list. The tagged classmate will then share their story next Thursday and then tag and announce a new classmate.

Five Events are listed:

Select the item you wish to register for. To ensure that you are accounted for, please register for each item that you plan to participate in.

Many of you are preparing for Spring Break next week.....I have one more week. I am on the countdown to April 14th....it can't get here fast enough!!!!
Back when we were in school, SPRING BREAK didn't equate to going out of town on vacation, it just meant a week out of school getting to sleep in because you stayed up way too late, getting up just in time to watch soap operas all day and then running around cleaning up just before your parents got home from work!
Today's kid...s have it made and we have created these monsters! Cameron, mind you who is 12, doesn't work to pay any bills and couldn't contribute a dime to spring break vacation, has the nerve to try to dictate where we go for spring break! He, as most of the younger generation is a genious with gadgets, so long before spring break, he starts his inquiries to provide my husband and me with different options for where we should go. Really Cameron???? He trips us out!
How many of you have kids who think that spring break is an entitlement and a time for parents to take them out of town and treat them like they are Kings or Queens? LOL

Good Evening Everyone! We have been promoting our reunion for 6 weeks now. During this time we have re-acquainted ourselves with classmates, sharing stories and memories from 30 years ago. For me, I learned that Pamela Swinson Jenkins has a wonderful talent of playing the piano! I always dreamed of being able to play the piano and sing. Boy if I had those talents, I would be dangerous! With PROM SEASON upon us, there is no time like the present to bring out those old prom pictures. Our style back then was nothing like the style today, but nevertheless, we were "Oh So Cute"!
Joe Davis and I were styling and profiling at our Jr. Prom and for Senior Prom, I went solo!

New Week, New Grind......Happy Monday Everyone!
Calling All Detectives, Private Investigators, Police Officers, Bounty Hunters, Lawyers, Psychics, and Neighbor Spies………..I know some of you possess these type skills, even if this truly is not your “Paid Profession”! LOL!
We need you to go to work to assist in locating our “Missing Classmates” by any means necessary! Use your Informants, Road Stops/Blocks, APBs, Warrants, Eye Witnesses, Wire Taps, Psychic Powers, Binoculars and Flashlights to assist you in your endeavor! You will receive your pay at the reunion, and it will be plentiful, when you are able to enjoy the success of our reunion as a result of all of your hard work!
Seriously, one of the hardest parts of planning a reunion is locating all of the classmates. We have done a pretty good job in locating classmates on Facebook, but we still have many classmates unaccounted for.
Our focus starting this week is to find “Missing Classmates”. Each day, I will share a page from our yearbook identifying those classmates who we have not had conversations with since we started six weeks ago.
Please do your part and if you know how to reach these missing classmates or know someone that can assist in locating them, please reach out to them and share the details of our reunion thus far.
If you have luck in locating anyone, please provide an update so that we will know that we have at least gotten the information to them. The rest is up to them!

Tell us about a time that you were so EMBARRESED in High School that you could have died and gone on to HEAVEN at that very moment…..
My Friends, there were many for me, but I think the one that takes the cake is the time that I was going to drive to school after learning how to drive my brand new “stick shift” Honda Civic!!!!
I was truly spoiled rotten by my parents. I got a lot more than I probably deserved! After being surprised on my 16th Birthday with a brand new car, you know I had to show it off. I had practiced with my father for weeks on the back streets in our neighborhood. I had become quite the pro, I thought to myself! I was able to come and go without any problems until that “beautiful” morning on the way to school. I deliberately had us (my sister Tan (RIP) and BFF Dawn P Moore) miss the school bus that morning so that I could drive to school. I waited until I thought that the bus was well enough ahead and then off to school I drove!
I timed it perfectly because from the 15 minutes that had passed, we pulled up behind our bus. Alphonso Murray was the driver. So here I go showing off! The bus was going too slow and to show off, I needed to be in front of the bus so everyone on the bus could see me and my new car. After checking and making sure the coast was clear to pass, around the bus I go!!!! I was just fine until I got to the stop sign and not until that very moment, did I remember that it was up a hill! Oh shoot, I hadn’t quite yet mastered hills, but how bad could it be. Well let me tell you, it was bad! After waiting for the traffic ahead of me to go through the 4-way stop, it was my turn. Do you know I could not get that stick in 1st gear to save my life…..we went forward and then backwards, forward and then backwards, for I know what seemed to be a good 5 minutes or longer. By now all of the kids on the bus were hanging out the window and cracking jokes and the traffic behind me was lined up for miles! As tears formed in my eyes, I said a quick prayer and told God, “If You help me to make it up this hill, I will never drive to school again!” I think at that moment He felt sorry for me and allowed me to get in gear and I finally got through the stop sign. I gunned it for the remainder of the drive to school! My sister and Donna didn’t say a word! I was ever so happy to make it to school that day! But of course all day, everyone who had the opportunity to witness that embarrassing moment teased me all day and the rest of the week!!!!
After that day, I have never had any more problems with stick shifts but learned a very valuable lesson, don’t try to show off, or else you might become the laughing joke!
I might also add that the very first car that I bought on my own was a stick shift! Too funny! LOL!
Whew, what a relief.....we were not so SAD after all! Four sets of friends who have remained friends after all these years, they all should be commended!!!!!!

As I continue to think back to the beautiful friendships that I had in high school, it is sad to think that many of my friends from high school I haven't spoken to since we left Beddingfield. Since promoting the reunion, I have thought back to all the fun times shared with those friends and wonder how our relationship would be today if we had been able to maintain our relationship.
Many of you are able to say after 30 years that you are still Best Buddies with some of the classmates that you formed relationships with in high school. Yesterday, the post talked about many firsts. How many of you remember your first job in high school? Did you think that you were rich came payday? Well, let me tell you about my very first job!
My senior year in high school, I decided that I would get a part-time job to save up money as I prepared to go off to college. I said that the money that I made would be used for fun spending money at college.
I was fortunate to be hired by Nichols Discount Store getting paid $3.35 an hour! Boy you couldn't tell me nothing. I was hired to work in the ladies department, to monitor the dressing room, keep the area neat, price new shipments and provide customer service. Easy enough right? I did what I was hired to do, but I also did my fair share of shopping while on duty! In being the first to see new shipment coming in, I was able to put aside what I was going to purchase on payday. Y'all did hear me say earlier that I was supposed to be saving right? So why did all the money that I made go right back to Nichol's? Back in the day, Nichols had cute and reasonably priced clothes. I was always decked out in the latest and greatest? How many of you shopped at Nichols? Do you guys know that I was a size 3 back in high school? LOL.....I will never see that size again!!!!
But Nichols was very good to me. It taught me a lot about responsiblity and accountability. I will be forever grateful for that wonderul opportunity!

Motivation Monday!!!!!!! Have a Marvelous Monday!
(This post is long. Yes, I am very well aware. But it is needed to begin a new week, our 5th week of promotion, as some classmates are still needing encouragement. So, if you need to read one paragraph an hour/a day until you’ve read it in full, please do so. I am hoping that if nothing else has gotten the attention of those “missing classmates” that this might just do the trick and push you over the edge! The rest of us are here waiting to catch you!
For the longest time, I too had the same mentality as many of you. I said “I’ve passed that stage in my life and a reunion is not important to me at this time.” Then I got to rethinking things and came away with some valuable insights. Whether we want to admit it or not, good or bad, high school was an important time in all of our lives, where we experienced many momentous “firsts”. We experienced our first loves, our first break-ups, our first disappointments with ourselves and others, our first jobs, our first cars, our first concerts, our first time being independent, and our first true friendships. Most of our firsts were shared with many of our wonderful classmates! It is weird how I don’t remember a lot of the people that I attended college with unless they were in my inner circle, but despite 30 years, just bringing up someone’s name from high school and I instantly know them!
After having this on my heart for the past year, I finally decided that we shouldn’t allow time to erase past relationships, as time is not on our side. Time doesn’t take sides. It is simply a window of opportunity that should motivate us to cherish and maximize every moment.
Eventually after completing my research and establishing our website in September, I finally mustered up enough courage to share my interest with all of you in February. In reconnecting with classmates, I have been able to determine that time also destroys the artificial social structure of high school. Thank God! In addition, I’ve discovered that life has treated us all pretty much the same, the cool kids, the jocks, the cheerleaders, the braniacs, the stoners, the geeks and even the Homecoming Queen. Collectively, we’ve gained weight, gone bald, been divorced, married later in life, never married, never had children, have children we love to the point of pain, suffered ailments, been under employed, unemployed, and employed in jobs we never thought we’d be doing in a million years.
So none of us have lived the fairly-tale life we expected to live. Some of us are glad for that, others are frustrated, some are angry. But having lived life, we are much more humble, more forgiving of ourselves and others, more open to not knowing what the next moment holds and feeling grateful we’re even here at all! After 30 years, we’re more alike than we are different and in no small part because we embarked on our adult lives in the same moment.
Thirty years ago, young people scattered in different directions on that memorable day in June 1987 and whether we know it or not, we are each other’s touchstones and will be until we are no more!
This is the reason I stepped up to the challenge of planning the Beddingfield High School Class of 1987 30 Year Class Reunion! Now if I can just get all of you to join me! Stop straddling the fence and just do it!

Friday Reunion Update:
The profiles are being created slowly but surely. I am on a mission and will continue to push you and I don't care if you are talking about me...Just don't let me hear you! LOL! I am like the Mother Hen, so I have to keep reminding, encouraging, leading and guiding everyone to keep the momentum going! Just call me Mother Bruin! I don't think that I've shared this before, but I am like the energizer bunny, I keep going and going and going! So don't try to outlast me! I will eventually get you! Beware!
Seriously, even though the profiles are coming in at a snail's pace, I think we finally had a break through this week! We've had more communications, laughs, connections, pictures and participation than we've had since starting almost four weeks ago. You are finally letting your hair down and enjoying each other like we did 30 years ago and it certainly feels good. I am having a good time and I hope that you are too!
Reminders:
Don't forget to vote before March 20th to determine the date of the September football game, the 15th or the 22nd. The date with the most votes will determine our reunion weekend!
Next Steps:
1) Announcing the date that our reunion will take place.
2) Confirming the number of classmates who are planning to attend the reunion.
3) Finding a suitable location for the reunion.

How many of you in your younger years didn't think that your actions would bring about consequences? Yep, I am sure I am not the only one!
Let me share one of my stories with you! Me and my BFF next door neighbor/Classmate, Dawn P Moore, aka Donna, were tight like Thelma and Louise! We spent lots of quality time together living next door to each other.
One evening, my mother gave me specific directions and they were very simple, "Take this money, go to KFC and pick up dinner." Simple enough right????? Well let me tell you about me and my BFF. We had another agenda item that we needed to attend to first and dinner would have to wait.
There was a party being hosted by some students at one of our rival high schools (Fike). Donna and I said that we would go and check out the party and then go to KFC. Do you know Donna and I got to that party and one dance led to another dance, and we didn't leave that party until it was over!!! We didn't think about KFC until we passed by it (mind you it was closed) as we were on our way back home!
Yep that was bad! I never had the opportunity to ask my mom what she and my siblings had for dinner because my Dad who worked 2nd Shift at Firestone beat us home, met me at the door, took my keys and grounded me for two weeks.
Donna, what were we thinking????? All we had to do was go pick up dinner take it back and then we were free to do what we wanted!!! The dumb things that we did as young adults! Donna, you were supposed to be a good example for me! LOL!
Donna, even though our paths drifted apart after high school, I want you to know that I will always cherish the good and bad times that we shared!! Love You Chick!

Good Morning Team,
As close as we came, (28.7 %) we fell short (1.3%) last week. So you know what that means....we got to buckle down and work even harder this week. To help us work towards the 11.3% goal this week, we will start with TEAMWORK TUESDAY.
TEAMWORK TUESDAY is working together to get missing classmates to create profiles. Reach out to at least two missing classmates and help/encourage them to establish their profile. With everyone working together, we can make this happen!
As parents, we are always proud to be able to share special stories or something that we have in common with our children. With Dom and I raising Cameron in a different town than either of us grew up in, he often asks us questions about our schools and how they were compared to his school. It would be wonderful if we could share/compare stories about attending the same High School with him, but unless we plan on moving back to Wilson/Greenville, NC, that is not going to happen.
Some of you, however, are getting to experience this with your children. If you have children that attend/attended Beddingfield, please share how things are different from when we were there 30 Years Ago....Boy, we are "OLD AS DIRT" as described by my12 year old who can't fathom the idea of his Dad and me ever being anything except, "OLD"!!! LOL

Classmates, I know you think that I have lost my mind in PUSHING for the PROFILES. But I am telling you there is a reason for it. There are a lot of classmates who are not on Facebook and the only way that they are able to get information is from our website. We want everyone, not just you on Facebook, to be able to be engaged and up to speed on everything. I am working “DOUBLE” and “TRIPLE” time to manage both sites, and looking to eventually maintain just one site!!!!!!! That will not be possible without the establishment of profiles!
In addition, as we move forward, other things like t-shirt sales, reunion ticket sales, etc. will all be managed from our website. Facebook will not accommodate these type functions. And if you don’t have a profile, when we get to these important things, you will not be able to complete these things. To ensure that we don’t leave any BRUINS behind, a profile is necessary!
So again, I am BEGGING & PLEADING with you, like “Keith Sweat” (I Wanna, I Want That Profile, I Wanna), to get those PROFILES established! You don’t know how happy that would make me! Help a Sistah out, why don’t you?

Thank you all for your participation! We have broken the ICE, we have warmed up and we are working together to make it come together! Keep it Up!
Current Status:
The past week has been fabulous. Nineteen more profiles have been established than the week before. In addition, conversations are starting to become a lot easier! It is wonderful to see everyone reconnecting!
27.9% of classmate profiles have been established. That is 68 out of 244 total in our class. Let’s keep increasing that number! The goal for this week was 30%. We are almost there. We only need 2.1%, or 6 more profiles to achieve this goal. Will you help me make that happen?
Your votes determined that September is the month that our reunion will take place. either the weekend of September 15th or September 22nd. Voting will remain open for another week, through March 20th. So please take the time to vote so that you are a part of the decision!
Next Steps:
After the date is confirmed, I will be asking the class to confirm their participation. This confirmation will allow me to move forward with researching a feasible location that will accommodate everyone who plans to attend.

For me, many of you may not have known that I HATED my name growing up. On many occasions, I asked my Mom why I couldn't have been a Tammy, Michelle or Lisa? The only other person who I knew named Audrey, was Ms. Hepburn and she was "OLD". It wasn't until High School that I met other girls who were also named Audrey, Audrey Horne and Audrey Jones!

Did you know that the average class reunion attendance is only 20%. Do you know the #1 reason classmates don't participate in their class reunions?
Well, let me answer that for you.....
The #1 reason is that many feel uncomfortable because it has been so many years and they fear they won't know anyone there. So they rather not participate than to attend and feel ackward.
That's pretty common right? Well that is why it is so important that we all participate in conversations, games, activities and re-acquaint ourselves with each other. This engagement will hopefully let our classmates know that it is all about FRIENDSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP, which should aid in reducing and eliminating any anxiety or negative thoughts associated with the reunion. This should also help in increasing the desire to participate and be a part of this very special reunion! Guys, 30 Years is a huge milestone!
So why not put that fear behind you and let's have fun! The Reunion would not be the same without each of "U" there!!!!

As we approach the end of Week 2, I am reminiscing about High School and how I had the time of my life. And so, here’s to you “Class of 87”, I owe it all to you! LOVE YOU, MEAN IT!
Current Status:
Tuesday will end two full weeks in the Promotion of our 30 Year Reunion. We are making great progress. Keep it up!
20.1% of classmate profiles have been established, 49 out of 244 total in our class. WE MET THE GOAL! THANKS TO ALL!

Your votes determined that September is the month that our reunion will take place. With September 2017 having 5 weekends, it turned out to be the perfect month! The exact date of the reunion, and any other event/s surrounding the reunion, will be determined by the Football Schedule. I will provide an update as soon as I receive the schedule for the home games.
Next Steps:
Keep spreading the word. We still have many classmates to reach.
Participate by posting pictures, completing surveys and responding to posts. All of this information will be compiled to create a memory book! The more memories, the better!

You guys are making me so proud! In four days, 10.2% of our classmates have established profiles! That is amazing! But most importantly, communications are taking place. That is always the most difficult step. Keep pushing forward!
To recap things, I have extended personal messages to all classmates that I have been able to locate on Facebook. That is only 47% of us. But I have confidence that we can increase that number significantly! So that means that there is lots of work still ahead.
Will you please assist with increasing the percentage? Spread the word, talk to family, friends, neighbors and co-workers and promote our reunion! I know that I can count on you!

This is where it all started, August 1983! We were young, naive Freshmen who were eager to begin our High School Journey. When we graduated in June of 1987, we had no idea where our lives would take us!
And so here we are, many years later, so much more wiser and mature with so many wonderful experiences and stories.
As we approach our 30th year, it would be so wonderful if we could all re-unite, Beddingfield Bruins, Class of 1987, to fellowship with our classmates to catch up on what has happened over the years.
I am reaching out to you to get the celebration planning underway. I am at the beginning stages, but would love it if you would help me make this a success! All the pertinent details will be provided to you as the planning gets underway.
What I ask from you at this time is to spread the word and invite classmates that you are in contact with to the Beddingfield Class of "87" 30 Year Reunion Facebook Page and Website.
Please remember to check the sites regularly as important information will be shared to ensure that you have everything you need to encourage your participation! In addition, this website was created specifically for the class of 1987. You have to be invited to join. This will keep our information restricted to our classmates only. 🤓You know one of those projects.... We spent the day with my daddy. I'm sure we had a wonderful home cooked meal that my grandma prepared and probably laughed a lot. We hadn't thought about calling Lorie's mom ( who is now my mother in law) because that would have been a long distance call and well it really wasn't important... Well someone snitched on us in 5 th period. Said they saw us earlier at school and Ms Shelton reported us to the office. Delance was then contacted about her daughter's whereabouts. She was clueless! Needless to say we had to visit Mr Lewis' office (no relation, however that might have been beneficial.) The sentence was D Hall. I felt like a repeat felon since I had been to D Hall once before for three consecutive tardies. Imagine that. My bff (now sister in law) was traumatized. Our classmates didn't let it rest and Coach Neal nearly caused Lorie to have a panic attack. We have had many laughs about it. Class day would not have been the same because we definitely were out for revenge! Most of all I look back and think, Wow it was worth it. It was one more day I was blessed to spend with my daddy that I would not have had otherwise. How I would love to have one more day!
