Conrad Kenyon "Ken" Zeiler

Devoted husband, father, brother, and grandfather.

Conrad Kenyon Zeiler, "Ken", was born September 3rd,1945, in Greeley, Colorado, passed away Friday November 4th, 2016 in Keystone, Colorado.

Conrad was the son to Alma and Henry Zeiler. The brother to Richard, Kathleen, and Ron Zeiler. Survivors include wife Beverly Adams Zeiler; four daughters, Amber Sample, Jill Triantaphyllis, Amy Wiseman, and Stacy Kenyon. Ten Grandchildren Beau & Faryn Steffan, Zoey & Conner Kenyon, Dimitri & Lexi Triantaphyllis, Henry, Hailey & Max Wiseman, and Noah Vigil.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Henry, and his brother Ron.

He attended Colorado State University where he played football and received his degree in animal sciences. Ken went on to be a decorated naval officer "Z MAN" who flew for the navy from 1967 to 1972. He flew A3, A4's, and F17's. He continued flying as a pilot for Southwest Airlines from 1978 to 2001 where he became one of the top pilots in the company and was honored to be a check airman.

He loved skiing, collecting great wine, reading, listening to music, playing golf "but wasn't very good ;)", traveling, and doing endless creative projects. He was loved by all who knew him, … always the life of the party.

Memorial services were held November the 14th, 2016 at Mile Hi Church, 9077 W Alameda Ave. Lakewood, CO 80226.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in celebration of Ken's life, to the American Heart Association, or Mile Hi Church.

Harvey Cummins

So sorry that Ken transitioned early but was happy I got to know him in my life.  I am still in close to his brother, Richard.  Richard is into aviation as well and rebuilds planes and flys them all over.  May me be with the angels now in a place he loved to be.
