Classmate George Joseph Makuta Jr. died at his home Friday, Sept. 19, 2003.  

Life after high school eventually brought George to Lily Lake PA. He was a plumber by trade who very much enjoyed fishing.

George was survived by his mother, Delores Ann Makuta of Lily Lake, son George Joseph Makuta III, and daughter Jennifer Marie Makuta, both of Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Mark Matthew Makuta, and a sister, Barbara Ann Smith, both of Virginia.
