Gold Bond is best, but be careful--it burns at first....oooh!

David LeBoeuf

Not all burns are bad

I just came back from Cape Cod and read the messages...

Thanks for offering the postcards Mike and Eric, I know she'll be happy to receive any and all.

You'd think postcards hanging on a Post Office wall would be enjoyed by all...too bad management didn't agree.

Thank you very much for looking/sending!

:)

Hey E, did you see the recent headline about Gold Bond?

My principal called to say that I had a lot of mail waiting for me...she mentioned post cards. Since I haven't been to school yet to see who the mail is from, I just wanted to say THANK YOU in advance.
Mike? Eric?
I appreciate your generosity!

Mike, Eric, John and Todd,
The post cards are great!!!
Thank you for taking the time to send...she's going to be so busy looking at the photos she won't have time to think about her chemo.

:)

PS...NO LIE...I was in the supply closet at school (don't ask!) and looked down at the 3rd grade shelf where we store books for summer and guess what (?)... I saw (2) of your books Eric! Now, I had never noticed them there before, so I find that sort of like
c-r-a-z-y ironic...that I just received the postcards from you!
The photos in the books are outstanding...I'm going to snag them for a closer look come Fall. :)

Great! Enjoy the books when you get a chance. We had an amazing time putting them together. Every picture that someone donated for the book came with wonderful family stories--it was awesome! Would love to do more in the future.

Amy--forgot!
There was just a recent article in the T and G about an author of children's books. He's related to Holly O'Neil--maybe he can give you some advice for writing one of your own. I think he lives in Northampton now, but he was signing books last week at the Worcester Library.
He actually based this recent book on a lunch lady he remembered from Gates Lane School!! Cool!!

I'd like to be a lunch lady when I grow up, but would I still be required to wear a hair net if I have no hair?

Yes, Eric...I read that SAME article about Jarrett Krosoczka and believe it or not, I used to babysit him (with Holly)when he lived on Bauer Street.
Very excellent news for such a young and talented writer/illustrator. I've followed him online for years and own several of his books.

Also nice that Jeanie Carriglia was the model for such an idea...and that Amy Poler will be the voice of the lunch lady when it hits television!!! Bragging point to tell grandkids.

I am back at the Cape, and recently finished taking another writers workshop. Right now, I am story boarding at the Yarmouth Library(wish me luck!).

PS How did you manage the whole process from idea, to print to marketing?

Amy,

I sent you a response to your message. Todd is that really you? Are we getting the band together? Just kidding, it was very good to see some posts of classmates I missed at the reunion. I look forward to seeing you next time.

You know how much I love to post about the Wii's right? If not just ask so I can repost the whole story, you know how much I love that...

Anycow here is the link, I thought it might help those in need of a cheap whiteboard for presentations, besides it's the only useful thing I found with the Wii that won't hurt you.

*Cut and paste above link* ->if you want the link to TED*

Ps -> Amy, when I send you the manuscript back I will be sending some postcards. I hope I'm not too late?
