Dr. Rhoda Holtzman Halperin died suddenly in April 2009. She was a professor of anthropology, most recently at Montclair State University in New Jersey. She is survived by her husband Bill and at least two children.
Oh, Gretta, thanks for posting this item about Rhoda's passing. One of my earliest school buddies, I still treasure our friendship. Though 50 years have passed since I last saw her, I can still see her in my mind. She was a brilliant student and a wonderful friend. Carolyn
I too was a friend of Rhoda's. We had a number of classes together and at times humg out together. She was very bright, kind, and creative. I was saddened to hear of her death. Thanks for filling in some of the missing information.
