Comments:

I'm a guest because this was supposed to be my graduating class. Oops! I flunked 10th grade as a futile gesture of teenage rebellion. Oh well.

Administrator, how do I delete one of my two last names? I only need one, really. Perhaps you can delete it for me? Thanks!

School Story:

I never liked school, especially high school. My best friend was Alan Charne until he dumped me when I flunked 10th grade. Can't blame him. Do you remember the Lisa Ledger? It was a self-published handwritten underground newspaper I posted on the cafeteria wall.

After graduation I enlisted in the U.S. Army. Upon completing my service I attended Athens College in Athens, Alabama, followed by the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I was a journalist for eight years at three different North Alabama newspapers. I guess of seen it all... Murders/suicides/police corruption/racism/tornadoes

I then returned to college to obtain a B.S. in Education degree, after which I taught elementary school some 22 years in Limestone County, North Alabama.
Moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico, in the spring of 2001 following my divorce from Carol Ader Field after 30 years of marriage. It was an amicable divorce... we still communicate off and on. I continued teaching elementary school until I retired and am presently an educational assistant in New Mexico's Pre-K program. Married to Estella Mayorga, who, like my first wife, has taught me so much about Spirit, helping me to grow into a better person.

I'm on my fifth motorcycle (thanks to Tommy Whitaker, class of '65, allowing me to try out his vespa 150 scooter). I ride most every day. My first bike was a 1965 Triumph TR6R purchased during my stint in the Army, followed by a 1970's Honda 550, followed by a 2001 Harley-Davidson Fatboy, followed by a 2003 Honda Interceptor (I managed to reach 150 miles on that one), now riding a 2008 Yamaha FJR 1300.

I was on Facebook and Twitter for several years but left last year because it took up too much of my time.

Not much else to say. Life goes on. Estella teaches high school and is a sound healer using tuning forks. I utilize pendulum dowsing for everything from finding lost objects in my home to communicating with spirits and everything in between.

Mr. Beren, I apologize for being quite the asshole in your class. You were one of my favorite teachers and I deeply regret I didn't apply myself in your class.

Mrs. Rigberg, thank you for encouraging me in my writing. You were my other favorite teacher. You and the class sat stunned when the principal announced that John Kennedy had been shot. A few minutes later came the news that Kennedy was dead. You handled our class that dreadful day with wisdom and with care. Thank you!

Been a pleasure sharing here. All of you fine folks take care and live long and happy. See you on the other side.

Pax,
Jeffrey

This, from Mr. Rogers... "If you could only sense how important you are to the lives of those you meet; how important you can be to the people you may never even dream of. There is something of yourself that you leave at every meeting with another person."

This. I am forever grateful to have known you, if only for a brief moment in our lives. Happy Happy Birthday, Karen.

Happy Birthday, Ann! You don't remember me but I remember you because, well, a bit of a story... Craig Alexy and I went to your house one day and we sat around and, if I remember correctly, we discussed the paranormal. After that day I had a bit of a crush on you. I was friends with Jimmy Specter at the time. I was always amazed how he could run track and be a smoker at the same time. Anyway, a day or so after our paranormal round table,, Jimmy pulls up outside my house. He slams the car door shut. He is pissed! And I'm scared. I feared he'd beat my ass. He loved you so much and he was in a jealous rage. Thankfully, I explained our innocent meeting and he calmed down.

Funny, as we grow old so many memories come back to us. I hope all of yours are filled with love and light.

Pax,
Jeff

What the buck was that?! (Recorded from the ship's TV.)

They played this on the ship's TV the day after the talent show. I was 30 years old then. Soon I'll be 64. Who cares, really?
