This is a shock to me being I do not know the circumstances of Judy passing. This is very sad in how close we are to the half-century reunion. I know Judy would have wanted to be part of this. Judy as I remember was one of the girls and very poplar. She was an excellent student and had a lot of ability to succeed in life.

When I think of her married name I recall my Typing Teacher Mr. Nicastro. I also was involved in publishing with Ralph Nicastro Jr. We published an Italian Cookbook for WBBW Vince Camp.

We will all miss Judy because she was a Warrior and part of our class of 1964 now ready to celebrate our 50th reunion.

I know Judy is looking down and smiling and she will be with us.

Save a seat in the bleachers Judy.

Receiving news of the passing of Judith Gallup Nicastro was indeed sad.  I did not really get to know her well as many of my other classmates.  I opened the 64' SHS Yearbook and glanced at her attractive picture and thinking to myself, "she is too young to be called home to our Heavenly Father."  I noticed she took French at South High and somehow I could picture her speaking French in Paris.  With her being in A Cappela Choir she was given a gift to sing, which I certainly do not have.   I can also see her working in an administration staff of a well known company, there she would be an example by being a good manager and always reflecting a pleasant smile and having a desire to help others. All is not lost with her passing, for she is with her other family members and other SHS graduates..  There will be a day when all of us from the Class of 64' will be greeted by Judith, then that day we again can laugh and share our life's experiences.  My sincerest thoughts go out to her family.
