John Jarvis was part of the South High School Warrior Band. John played a mean trumpet and was a lot of fun all through High School. John was a tall guy and stood out with his horn. It made us feel good that big John could take on our adversaries that were poor losers. Beside the football team getting flack the band also caught the rotten tomatoes.
